Default Sebring in the S2000 was a blast!

I finally got back out on track and this was the first time out in the S2000. This car is a blast to drive on track, I got lots of video and lots of track time. I ended up getting 25 laps around the 3.7 mile circuit!! The Kumho MX's seemed pretty good once I got a lap on them. I almost lost the rear on my first lap out due to this. I learned my lesson quick and just took it easy until things were warmed up. My best lap was 2:50.6 , seemed like a pretty decent time to me and this vid shows me pulling in a C6 vette. He pulled the crap outta me on the straights then I ran him down in the braking and twisty sections.

Here is the vid, let me know if the line looks alright still looking for pointers when I can get them.

I'm liking... nice vid.

Do you like doing track days with the top down like that? I've never done a track day but when I do Auto-X, I always leave the top up. Feels like I see TOO much when the top down. With the top up, it's like I can concentrate more on things in front of me. Also... there's no wind noise for the video... hehe.

I'll have to watch the video at home, I'm at work now - lol

2:50 is pretty respectable times, approx. 78 mph average - - we run 2:27-2:28 in the skip barber cars at approx 90 mph average.

I'll comment on your line if i see anything blatant, I've got some time around there also ran the Panoz race car there for a test day.

be safe,
Steve

What is this "top" you speak of, and how does one put it "up" ?

It's those two melon looking things on a woman's upper torso area that are fun to play with.

To get the "top" "up"... well you can lay them on their back, which cause the melons to equalize themselves so they're not sagging or you could put their bottom rear on the edge of a low couch with their "top" closer to the ground... that usually makes the "top" go "up".

Ah yes, of course. I am familiar with the "top." I had never considered putting them up while racing though. In fact, I'm not sure how having the "top up" helps you concentrate. I would have thought it would have had the opposite affect. I will have to try and see for myself at the next track event.

I tried it both ways and I prefer to have it up. I thought what the heck and went out with it down plus it made for some cool pics of my helmet while on track . Now if the photographer would get me my pics!

Thanks Steve.

Sure does sound like you have some time on Sebring, and if you notice something that could be done better in my vid please point it out.
