Default Short shifter?

Thinking on getting a short shifter for my S2000. Anyone have any recommendations?

Only one that I know of is the Axial Short Shifter, some people have problems with buzzing and some don't.

And then one wonders, "Why?" The length of shift in this car is the least of any problems...

drop a voodoo knob on your current shifter and you'll be good to go.

Does it make you go around corners faster, increase acceleration or otherwise positively improve performance? Or does it just reduce hand motion from 4" to 3"?

^Some people want that. They may feel it makes them faster to 60 MPH due to the less time it takes to shift. Just a thought.

a short shifter and an omnipower clutch master cylinder will decrease shift times, especially upshifts. It will cut time off your laps but I wouldn't recommend this as a first mod. I'd recommend getting the CMC together with a shift shifter.
