I've found the board's current twitchy versus smooth thread to be just as deeply and genuinely discussed, yet also utterly worthless.

Though the article may not be the ideal and best bit of info ever composed, it does have valid results from cars that were setup pretty well ... not the best, but better than most S2000s we see on the street. My experience in racing shows far more variances and factors to take in account when making comparisons with a group of like cars, so in hindsight I say the test was put together very well. I'm sure all the teams could have spent the whole weekend fine tuning their cars, just like we do all year long in our local scca club. We all can read and understand the conditions of the test, so why are some of you so upset? Go do your own suspension comparison and I would love to read about it! I'm still glad SCC chose the S2000 for the test car!

The smooth vs jerky thread has some really great points of view from some very talented drivers. Maybe you guys are confused, just post up your questions if you are. If you are that good and knew all info anyways, why not share?

The point is, the style of input is a result of the conditions (track, car, and driver) and speed, the speed is not a result of the style of input.
Good way to put it.
