Default Spring rates question

OK first off I'll tell you that my S is being built for street and road course in mind, autocross for the financially challenged times. I would kinda like to get the TEIN SRD's but are the spring rates too high for street tires, I prefer street tires over race tires because I'm not good enough of a driver to use race tires yet I think the TEIN SRD rates are 16kg all around, my buddy is telling me anything over 10kg will surpass street tires abilities. What do you road race guys think? Thanks shock.

Yeah, you really don't need spring rates that high for street tires.
