Mike at karting:

To his credit tho, I probably put him in a bad mood by pokin' fun at him. He's one of those guys that likes to dish it out, but doesn't like to take any return-fire. When we were waitin' at that Sushi place - foodpoisonaki or whatever - he said he's got a masters degree in Journalism. I said, "So, shouldn't you be working at Starbucks or somethin'?" I don't think he appreciated that...
They'll give you a fire jacket, so dress light shirtwise (in fact, you might as well bring a spare, cause you will SWEAT). I wore shorts last time which was fine, but you may end up with a scrape or a bruise from hitting various parts of the cart if you're tall.
As for times, a fast lap is under 17 seconds. Its a short track, so you really get to focus on your line. Be prepared - we did about 130 laps last time and it takes it out of your shoulders. I worked out the morning before we went and I was regretting it.

Rlaifatt,
Seriously, I looked at the Amtrak route and that may be the best way to go. www.amtrak.com check it out.
Driving 200 miles for some karting action shows true dedication, but may not be the most "efficient" means of travel.
Think about it.
Ardy,
You are bringing one more crackhead or just yourself?

lol, may bring one more junky with me besides myself. So we can bring helmets? gloves? suits? can I wear my open face helmet? I do have a 1970's beiffe helmet that has been through a lot, if I can't wear the open face, I'd love to wear the "beef"
