Matt that was awesome! Now how to make my rear end stick that well?

Watching these videos makes my car look really really loose. Hopefully that will be fixed this year. I'm ice skating around the lot most of the time.

Stop practicing for Dixie!
Holy crap!! Nice run Matt! Thanks for posting that. And, I agree with Marc!

Just over a month away and I'll be at Dixie with my 1st run/event of the year. (After seeing that video, I'm setting my expectations low)

Thanks Josh and Rob. It won't sound like that for long. I'm about to install an HFC and the 70mm Ti T1R EM. I love that thing. I had it on my AP2.

52.7+1

would of took STR by 1.3 seconds. Unfortunately kept hitting the third cone in the final slalom. Also should of shifted toward the finish.

I have the PLM header, Berk 70mm cat, 70 T1R EM stainless, and K & N intake kit (this sucker is way louder than stock), the combination of parts sounds awesome, a nice deep tone, it does boom a bit around 3K under a load (like slow accelleration up a hill in top gear) and has a nice sound while cruising at freeway speeds. And damn does it sound bitchen at full throttle, best sounding 4cyl I have ever had. But I am bordering on being over our 93db limit, I average 91.5db, and that is to close for comfort, we get DQ'd for anything over 93.0db.

Not sure how all these parts will sound on an AP1, but I think you will be very happy with it.

Corrected that for ya Nice driving Jonathan, your wheel work is stellar, and the car is handling perfectly. Because of 1 ride in your car, I have ordered the Ankeny dual blade.

Here is some video from the last event from 2011 for me. This run was on Dunlops. Switched to Hankooks in the afternoon and went .4 slower and felt like I had to work a lot harder to do it. Was around 70 degrees that day.

Nice run, Colin. I'm surprised at the oversteer you have going on towards the finish. Don't change your car at all, OK?

That's interesting that you were substantially quicker on the Dunlops. I've put the Dunlops back on the car for daily driving because the Kooks were down right dangerous in this cold weather. The Dunlops work right out of my driveway but the Kooks take longer than how far I typically drive to heat up enough not to feel like I'm on ice. They're absolute crap until they are warm to the touch.

I look forward to some more events and a back to back testing of the two tires.
