Anyone notice the 255/40/17 rivals eta on TR got pushed out from Fri 3/29 to Mon 4/8? I hope they do not slip any further i would like to get some seat time in them before the NJ pro. I have had my order in for a few weeks now. Anyone know if the new ETA is for new orders or existing orders too? If not i will call TR to get the scoop.

It would be interesting to know. I ordered mine on 1/24 and the emailed order confirmation said availability 4/11 (what ever that means). I just ordered another set of RS3s for the San Diego Tour and El Toro Pro.

We've got a double weekend in DC right before the Dover Tour. I'd like at least that to work on setup optimization for the new tires. I'm okay with them arriving at my door on 4/8, but much longer than that...will be frustrating.

Rats! I have a set of shaved RS3's that I got from Matt G. that I was thinking about selling 'em. I've used them at the Toledo pro and maybe one or two other local events. Would have been a perfect fit for ya!

Maybe for Prosolo at El Toro, but shaved tires in San Diego is a shot in the foot! Surface is so slippery you need all the flexible rubber you can get!

DO NOT SET-UP A CAR AT FEDEX FIELD. It will be garbage everywhere else.

I dunno if we've got any other options. At least try to use it as a ballpark for pressure. I don't know what's worse, internet logic or two days of testing at a site that won't gain us much. I guess there's a VMP NASA event the week after...maybe we can bribe the NASA folks to let us show up early and run a skidpad...

Right now, I'm gonna be happy if we get an event in before Dixie without snow on the ground. We've got two events this weekend...

Agree with that and also don't think RS3s need shaving in general. Rivals are still unknown for me and RS3s will help get me through the year.
