^ don't think it would matter. It happens under compression AND when the wheel is pointed out of the fenderwell. Mine happened on course, I was countersteered and hit a nasty bump. It was a bad day...

I have offset delrin upper control arm bushings so that should tuck the front tire top in more. Still happened though!

people running +55 and lower offset wheels. I rolled mine, but wish I hadn't. there's no point for most commonly available wheels.

I guess when I build an BSP/XP/FP car, it will be ready, but until then it creates a vulnerable spot for rust by trapping moisture between the fold, and if your paint cracks your sheet metal is exposed too.

^Over years and years I've never had issues with fenders starting to rust from being rolled. And if the paint cracks you need to find a new person to roll fenders. It's not hard to properly roll them without cracking paint.

I'm running 17x9 + 45 . Only my fronts are rolled, running 245/40/17.

Is it true that relocating rear bumper tab is illegal? I've been thinking about rolling rear so that I can fit 255's.

Ian, just get proper STR wheels if you want to run a 255. Use the RPF1s daily and pick up a cheap set of TR Motorsports wheels or something used out of the Marketplace.
And I believe rear bumper tab relocation is illegal.

I guess cheap is all relative. I don't want to spend another $700 on a set of wheels and I can't bear to part with my RPF-1's.

Just curious what rule specifically disallows the tab relocation. If anything I'll just keep running 245's. Just trying to stay legal just in case I decide to do Dixie next year.
