Anyone know a measurement of how much clearance is gained by cutting the arms, and how much is from each extra degree of negative camber?

Just looked on tire racks website today and they state that the rivals have a 7.2/32" tread depth...

Minimum tread depth has to be greater than 7/32 as previously mentioned! I find it funny!

Hopefully the tire costs 7/8 of its competitors

This issue was already raised and cleared by STAC after full inquiry by BFG and TR but I must admit it cuts it pretty close to the reading of the rule.

Guess I had been lucky with my wheel/tire setup and unrolled fenders, until now. Was at the track doing some brake testing, dipped my tire off the track at an apex and snagged the driver side fender lip. The mangled fender lip sliced off a fair amount tire tread. Just a warning to those who think fender rolling isn't necessary (as I once thought)...

17x9 +63mm fitment with 255/40/17 RS3s, -3.2 deg of camber, 12.75" fender lip to wheel center ride height, 900 lb/in front springs

Even rolling the fenders doesn't guarantee anything either. I did the same pulling into a Starbucks a while ago. Fender tabs were rolled up and the tire still grabbed ahold of one and pulled it down. I've been very careful since. My camber was at -2.8, probably right around 12.75-13" ride height.

Curious if any of you had the upper joint or were all of you using the lower camber joint when this happened?
