Do you think there would be a benefit of getting a g30-660 over a g25 (for a f22).

I'm no turbo expert, but everything I've read and heard is that the G30 is intended for bigger engines than the g25.

What I love about our turbo is how responsive it is it's very drivable while having very little lag (just enough to act as a damper on my more abrupt throttle inputs).

How's the progress going on this thing? Is it going to be back out this season with some flappy paddles?

Its still a collection of parts in the shop. Ran out of time before the ppir event and king of the mountain event (we took 1st place in both).

Hopefully we will have it done by the Road America event in 3 weeks.

ASM made good progress today. Feels like we are so close but still so far to go. Engine and trans are ready to go into the car.

Mechatronics all wired up and installed back in the trans.

Trans and engine all done and ready to be bolted together

Ready for the car

Road America is next weekend and we very likely won’t be ready with this new setup, still too much to do. Hoping to get this tested and then first competition event at Gingerman in Oct. If it rains I will legit cry.

Congrats on the win and the big progress on the tranny this is exciting to see. Considering these things hold 4-500hp/400tq and shift very quickly this is sure to be a winning combo!

So how does the grid life track battle work? Is it strictly fastest timed lap wins?

for regular track battle, yes. Sometimes they run bracket battles which are head to head fastest lap advances.
