That is awesome! Glad to see the progress and a successful swap. Sounds like a pretty robust drivetrain at this point that should remove some worries during a race weekend. I'll be curious to see any pictures of how it fits and a weight of the car compared to the stock drivetrain components.

The car was weighed the other day as it sits with no splitter or roof on it it's under 2530lbs

We are making progress. Lots of tuning on the dyno this week. This is the most spectacular run through the gears, but we’ve smoothed everything out and lost the fire since this run.

So freakin' awesome. Why are the front rollers spinning? Stability control?

Dyno can be run with the rollers linked, generally used for awd cars, but it adds a little extra load for us for tuning the shifting.

We have had some fun with this car over the past couple of months. Our second trip to barber we completed just one lap before having a catastrophic failure in the trans, we replaced the failed part and went to Gingerman last weekend. There we experienced the trans overheating far too quickly. But the car was very fast over one lap.

Here’s some video from Gingerman.

Unfortunately dealing with the trans has put us behind on dialing in the rest of the car so it’s all a bit raw and unrefined right now. In less than 2 weeks we will be back in competition with Gridlife at NCM, and in less than 4 weeks One Lap of America begins.
