Default Sway bar upgrade besides Grendon & Comptech

Hello guys i am new to my S2k and very interested in Autox i have been to one event so far in my S2k and i wanted to upgrade the front swaybar. I am on street tires (dunlop Z1s) and was hoping that someone could point out which other sway bar besides the Grendon and Comptech can deliver similar results. Cusco, Swift, Tanabe? Im just curious. Thanks in advance for the input!

I sure will! not too excited about what i read in the FAQ "he Saner bar has its share of problems as well. There are spacers between the bar and the endlinks to ensure sufficient endlink articulation, but these deform quickly. The Saner is also prone to making harmless but annoying clicks and clunks."

But this car hardly drives on the road so i don't mind much.

anyone else using this bar could give some input till i install mine?

I don't own one personally, but have two friends that do. They've both had it for a reasonably short time but both love it, and both have yet to experience said "side effects".

I think that the information in the sticky is a bit outdated, the new unit is suppose to be a bit better.

As far as the endlinks klunking, well like I said, I have yet to hear any, but would not be surprised if the rod ends supplied with the bar only last for 6 months worth of street/track driving. @ $265 only so much can be expected really. Rod ends are a wear and tear item regardless of the application, and if mine were to start being noisy, I would take the opportunity to upgrade them.

What street tires are you on currently? I was thinking of the cusco but wanted something with more certainty and since i read the FAQ it pointed towards three well known and proven sway bars.

Well...the Gendron and Comptech have drawbacks too...so don't feel bad. The Comptech clicks and clunks...but can be fixed with some teflon tape on the bar at the bushings.
