how do any of those later options count as bolt on braces none of those are?
Some of those products are of unknown quality, where as some are know to work very well, like BSKs.

What a shock! The co-owner of ASM has an ASM STB installed on his car
Did you consider he's actually trying to sell the products his company makes. It's called MARKETING. He gets paid whether the products actually do something or not, right? It's all about perception and alot of folks can't get enough JDM BLING. Don't confuse that with something that actually might help you at the track / autocross.

He didnt drive the car...it was driven by a formula driver who had not much previous experience driving closed-cockpit cars. He mentioned that he found the s2k to be very different and somewhat tricky to drive compared to his formula car...haha,...no shit -_-

I just love this post.
Most of the people who drives a S2000 think they have bought a ordinary car that looks good, but have to be refined and tuned to work on the track or even on the street.
And that everything that is aftemarket i better than what honda spent thousand of houers to develop.
Fools with money and no driving skills.

the term strut has basically been used interchangeably with the word shock for a long long time, and there really isn't much difference between the two (even if you have a double wishbone suspension, you'll still hear the term strut bar because thats just what people call them). When people mention strut bars, it's not because they people actually think the car has struts.

sorry, but i beg to differ. try driving on a bumpy or uneven road without a front bar, then drive driving on the same road with the front bar on. you WILL notice a big difference, because the bar does work (as it works for every other car). the ride will be noticeably less harsh with the front bar on.
