Actually I think for the most part, the suspension market is very stagnant. Very little change in terms of materials used or quality.

If the RS's have low miles on them I see no reason not to purchase them. Tein USA can still rebuild them if needed. They still offer rebuilds on the RA's, which are older.

Thanks Voodoo.

Do you have any experience with Tein USA? I am thinking about just giving them a call and trying to get a feel for them.

How much are new springs through Tein? Thinking about 12k/12k.....way down the road though. Need to learn the coilovers and settings first, then get some track miles under my belt with them.

Give them a call and they should be able to help you out. Don't bother sending a message to them on their website - they didn't even respond to mine...

FWIW, inspections are free and they now have two locations in the US to keep shipping costs down .

Good to know about the inspections. Thanks. I did just send them a message earlier. I will follow up with a call as well.

Yeah I would call them and ask how long the turnaround is right now and ask if all the parts are in stock for a "worst case scenario" for a full rebuild.

The folks at TEIN in DOWNEY are pretty cool and east to talk to.

SOHC, car looks really good!! I will not be trying to over lower my car...it needs to look good, but performance and drive-ability is the most important.
