I would strongly recommend you try the R12's on the rear first. It's never a good idea to change both the front and rear at the same time when you are trying to get a compound dialed in. If the change works then you you know exactly what worked. My two cents.

Hey Danny, glad to see you on here! I think I may do just that. Would you recommend I stay with the same brake compound in the front when moving to a bigger brake system? We're planning on having our V8R STR-43 kit on my car for testing in late September. I may just call you and order a couple pads to test out what works best.

Danny is the man.

junky u have to play around with the pad compounds and wat bet works for u. But Danny is right with the r16/r12 setup because they have been proven by global time attack winniners here in California.

Id love to be able to manual adjust the f/r brake bias, but don't know enough about who makes an applicable option.

I'm running RBF660 this year.
RBF660 is a really good fluid. Stick with that. If you don't already, have cooling ducts installed. As for a brake bias adjuster go with a Tilton setup. I am sure Mike over at TF Works can help you with that.

Good to hear. Seemed to be about the highest rated fluid that was still within the stratosphere on cost.

Yeah I am running ducting at all 4 corners.

Thanks for the tip on the bias adjuster.

Yes, stick with the same compound when adding a BBK. This way you can truly see the benefits of the BBK and you will know if any adjustments in compounds are necessary. Like I said earlier, always change one thing at a time unless your entire setup is
