Default THMotorsports Competition Track Blank Rotors REVIEW

S2Ki,

This THREAD is NOT for SALE PURPOSES. It is for the discussion of our newly introduced track rotors available exclusively through THMotorsports. We are looking to hear honest feedback on our rotors and authentic data to back up what they have to offer. As people purchase these rotors we will be looking forward to their results and feedback.

In the mean time, I'd be happy to answer any questions about what our new rotor is like, details, how it's been constructed and the process it takes to make a rotor like this. We have tested this rotor several times over in the past with local S2000 owner's with very good success! We will be updating the thread as we get more data from them as well.

THMotorsports wanted to introduce a LOW-COST, reliable and consistent rotor for all S2000 enthusiasts. Many of us have experienced cracked or broken rotors and some of us actually purchase cheap rotors from (autozone, advance auto....misc....) and use them as disposables. We have tried to put all technology advancements in one brake rotor package so you can have a rotor that last longer and keep you on the track for more seat time. Not everyone can afford 2-Piece rotors but now you have an option when it comes to getting rotors at a competitive price and great performance.

Cryogenic treatment has proven for years on all types of metallurgy to give very good competitive edges to racing. The treatment allows less stress within the metal so it is not as prone to wear. It is common knowledge that fleet vehicles, nationally ranked touring teams, NASCAR and even F1 use this process for money saving tactics as well as performance.

Features:
- High Carbon Content for Strength
- Directional Vanes for Better Cooling
- Cryogenic Treatment is the key to success with these rotors
- Premium Coated Rotor Hub

Let me know if you have any further questions, comments or concerns!

Sounds like "just another rotor option". How is this any different from a cryo treated Centric? What test data do you have to support your claims?

I'd rather not PM for a price. Are these cheaper than $30 blanks?

I'm with Power Slot cryo rotor + Project Mu HC+800 pads and it crack the same as the rest...

So, as psychoazn said this is just another rotor option.

The best for us should be a 2-piece rotor at an affordable price

Tell you what, I'll buy a set at Centric prices and test.

Or buy a set at your prices and then ask for a refund if they crack.

That's why I love it. Function over form. Proof over talk.

Looking at the vanes, it looks similar to the SOS vaned rotors. That could be a cooling advantage. I'd sell on that point rather than on the anti crack.

Like everyone stated, where data do you have today to back up the claims?
