Or 235 front 255 rear. I actually believe this would be faster than the 235-275. Much better balance, retains gearing.

John (twohoos), I just realigned the toe since SOW.... right front was toed in and left front was toed out, so steering was cocked to the right. You must have dropped wheels on both sides . Everything else was fine.

I run 255/275 and fing love it. Lap times at Thill with an understeering 235/275 combo went from a 2:04s to 2:02s when I switched to 255s in front. Braking also improved with the extra width in front. The increased gearing with the 275 is very noticable--even with a supercharger--but I'll take the loss in acceleration for the added grip and confidence in the rear. A set of 4.57s is all it would take to get things back to where they were, plus give me a little.

My 255s rub in the front--esp. on ducting. But bend the tabs back and you should be in business.

I''m actually going with the 235 F/275 R setup. I'll see how it is compared to the 235/275 but hopefully it should quell the understeer.

Dennis, are the 255's on the 7.5" or 9" Volks?

235 x4 max 255 x4

I am running 235 x4 (2 liter N/A class limit) and it's perfect (on slicks)

I think 235/255? He did quote your post. I was going to run those sizes if I ever got around to using my Works for the track.

Nobody, I have ducting and I am concerned about rubbing. What did you mean about bending the "tabs" in?
