Rev, i believe Nobody is referring to the tabs on the fender that hold up the fender lining. If you go 255 in the front, those tabs are going to be toast!

Dennis, are the 255's on the 7.5" or 9" Volks?
255/40-17s 17x9 +63mm offsets in front. Just a rear Volk CE28 mounted on front.

I've got a front set of Volks w/shaved 235 RAs on 'em if anyone wants to buy 'em.

just one thing to keep in mind. ce28 with 17x9+ 63mm offset in front, if you decide to get BBK later down the line, it will not clear. That's why i went with 17x9 +54mm ce28

I'm running a Small Brake Kit (SBK)! The Wilwoods are smaller and lighter than the stock calipers. No clearance issues whatsoever. Krazik is right about brake performance. When I switched to the Wilwoods there was no noticable difference in stopping distances and no increased resistance to heat soak. However, the Wilwoods are 30lbs lighter than stock, brake pads for the Dynalite caliper are less expensive (and there's more pad choices available) PLUS pad swaps take seconds once the wheels are off.

How about for the Stock AP1 wheels, anyone used 225/50/16 fronts and 245/45/16 rears? I know some people has used 205 fronts and 245 rears.

TIA

I''m actually going with the 235 F/275 R setup. I'll see how it is compared to the 235/275 but hopefully it should quell the understeer.
Brain melt down.

I'm going with the 235 F / 255 R.

When was the last time you even changed pads?

I am going to drain your brake fluid next time and see if you notice

In the last 2 years I've used 2 sets of rears and 1 set of fronts.

Just about to finally put my first set of vx rears on
