Top Speed 1 Mile Run
I did a quick search and didn't see anything.
Had anyone done a top speed run. Like a salt desert run of 1 mile.
Obviously not looking for stock.
Im talking about like turbo built motor, and dif upgrade to be able to go past stock max speed.
Just seeing if any modded s2ks have reached 200mph.

I searched "world's fastest S2000," but I knew what I was looking for (from posts about it last year).
They did 192mph in a quarter mile, so I don't think you'd need a mile to break 200...

You'd likely need a lot more than a mile on salt/desert to get to 200mph based on limited traction. Texas Mile and other standing mile events exist which typically run on airstrips (much greater traction!). Didn't see any S2000 runs at the Texas Mile site for the last couple of years.
A slippery car like an FD RX-7 will need on the order of 660hp to achieve 200mph in the mile. Mine did 184.8mph with ~520hp. A similar-weight but higher-drag S2000 would likely need 700hp to hit 200 in the mile. Totally doable without resorting to turning it into a dedicated drag car.

It takes a lot more power to get to 200 from a standing start in one mile (see title of thread) than it does to achieve it over a course of 3-5 miles.
