The nuts were too large. Just small enough to torque to 80ft/lb. This is according to another forum. From someone that said he was their and saw him put the wheels on.

This is why it's smart to thread the lugs by hand first so you can be sure they're the correct type, then torque them down with a good tq wrench. I think you would be able to realize when you hand thread them on, that they're too large or too small, something you won't be able to tell when you use an airgun to tighten the lugs.
