if you look up "s2000 j's oil filter stay" on google you see basically what i have and never had an issue after 5 years of hard track abuse. i thought $100plus was ridiculous so i basically made one for next to free. just a small piece of scrap steel i had around the garage (16ga iirc) cut a small strip, folded the end over and drilled a hole in it. took all of 15 minutes start to finish to make it. one end bolts onto the upper motor mount bolt hole and gets pinched between the mount and bolt. then there is a tab nearly touching the oil filter, worm clamp it, boom done.

I have a depowered rack if you are interested in buying rather than building. It was done by someone on the forums, and has quite a few custom machined bushings in it.

I like that they went to the trouble of making that nice install video then say "retorque to honda factory torque specs". Because you know they have no idea and just tighten it down. Cool.

I just hand tighten it... so it's easy to remove later.

BUT, i've been using this for the past 7 years....
