My first track experience ever was in the rain and I think it was the best way to start. Instead of concentrating on speed it forced me to learn and focus on the proper line.

 

did my first track instruction in the rain this weekend. what i really liked is that i had a very timid s2k student, but the rain helped hold up the fast cars from going fast. the only bad thing i can point at is that 3 cars spun in front of us during 1 20 min session and i had to teach them how to run the rain line instead of the normal dry line. the weather did clear up and things went well. i would just emphasize proper spacing when driving in a DE group in the rain. just my 2 cents
