Default Tranny fluid for track

As I prepare to do begin changing fluids, I wanna start getting the car ready in case I decide to do an occasional track day inthe future. I know what to use in the differential (LE 607-90), but I am trying to find out what's best for the tranny.

I know many people use the Motul 300 on Honda/Acuras, but I found some threads that question whether or not the Motul is safe for yellow metals (synchros). The other choice I'm eying for the tranny is the Redline MTL, and I think Penzoil sells an MTL that's the same as the GM synchromesh but cheaper. I also happen to have a couple QTs of NEO in my garage. What do you recommend?

I've used MT90 with no complaints. It's a bit thicker than MTL

I was thinking about that MT90 too. Any other recommendations?

When i was tracking the car with the stock LSD, i always use the same MTF as for the transmission.

Since i have the Spoon mechanical LSD, i use one of the 3 recommended: Motul 75/90, Silkolene Silktran Syn5 or Castrol TAF-X.

Till now, no problems.

Mobil 1 75W90 for the diff, Honda OEM MTF for the tranny. At 90K miles without any problems *knocks on wood*

I tried GM symchromesh friction modified, and went back to the Honda MTF.

I've got at least 30 track days (4000-5000 miles total) on the car, and two + years of autocross. I change both (tranny and differential fluid) each winter.

No problems so far.

Thanks for the replies. I thought a synthetic might resist heat better than the OEM MTF, but looks like that's just as good for track.
