Very Interesting Camber Joint/Roll Center Adjuster
So someone posted a link to this Rayra Factory page and I was looking through their s2000 parts and came across this.
It's labelled as a roll center adjuster/camber joint and it look me a minute to figure out how it worked but now it's pretty obvious. Your thoughts? Basically it would let you retain the factory ball joints and probably be the most simple install possible as you don't even need to remove the ball joint from the control arm. Just undo the two bolts and reinstall with new bolts.
Now the question is does that look sturdy or sketchy? If it was a solid piece I feel like there is a lot of potential for someone to duplicate this and make an even better alternative to what we already have.
The most obvious thing I question is what negative affect is there on having that entire ball joint piece slightly angled as it would be with these?

So basically it keeps on bolt in the same place and moves the other one out a little bit, therefore angling the joint and moving it out slightly?
I was actually thinking that when I put in my J's joint...why not just offset the factory one?
If I'm looking at that right it'll move the ball joint down quite a bit too - wonder what that will do?

^Exactly. It just angles the ball joint a little which offsets it from the rest of the hub. Moving it down makes this not only a camber joint but also a roll center adjuster. Pretty much win win if you ask me although I'd feel more comfortable if it was a completely solid piece

This design looks like a simple bolt-on solution, although it will change your roll center height which isn't always a good thing.
