On a serious note, looks like my instructor for the weekend will be the guy that helps balance/align the car. That doesn't happen everyday.

 

Skip, I live in Harrisonburg Va, solid 2.5 hr trip. I travel to Fredericksburg once a week for work (BB&T), I have noticed a lot of S2 action in the Fredericksburg area, anyone here speak to that?

Not sure if the run group question was a serious one or not, I'm in Blue, one step up from beginner (Green). My friend Dale will be joining me in his 03 Z06 and our mentor, instructor, resident fast guy (at age 31) will have his Porsche GT3 Cup car and his brand spanking new 997 GT3. He was doing 05s in his 04 "barely street legal" GT3 last fall. Thats fast.....

 

We have a couple of owners in the immediate area, but most live north of here. Scot was giving me a hard time about an inside joke concerning run groups with NASA.

Any chance your GT3 friend is Paul Bacon? He was my instructor at Summit in October. He seemed older than 31, but you never know. I believe Tubedriver(Pete) sometimes instructs for PCA.

If you know you're going to be in the area, shoot me a PM. Generally, my schedule is flexible. Perhaps we can meet in Central Park for lunch. One of our S2000 owners runs the T-Mobile store there.
