Actually there is a 2-3% differance in the sppedo that the YB could adjust for. That is if you really car. A data logger will collect the correct data if it is using an external GPS sernsor, or you collection the pulses and calculate it correctly in the provided software.

If you've really got all this money, try a real racing school instead of just HPDEs.

Another good idea. It's something I may look into in the not too distant future, but until then, will upgrade the car. I already feel that I have learned a lot just in the few track days I've been to. I'm learning a lot more each day, so once I get to a plateau where I'm not learning, I'll definitely look at spending the $ on a school.

I agree w/ FormulaRedline, throwing more mods in the car wont make you any faster. Check out Bondurant.

Wow...the schools are actually much less than I thought. I remember a couple years ago thinking that I would never spend that kind of money on a racing school, but I guess as you grow up your perception of price changes. Bondurant is only one state away. I really believe it may be something I do at some point in 2010.

yeah, dont change the final gear, just change the stock LSD with a 1.5 way clutch type LSD. i tried just the 4.57 with stock gears, and later tried the stock final gear with J's racing 1.5 way LSD and the felt much better in terms of controlability at the limit. my lap times were faster too with the LSD. with the 4.57 the car was a bit slower on straighaways but faster at corner exit. but due to the increased shifting it hurt the times. one more thing is that at some corners you cant use the second gear and instead go through a corner in third gear at lower RPMs to avoid having to shift right at the apex point!

PS: my car is supercharged and im tracking at a relatively big circuit with big straights, that might be a cause that with the 4.57 the car was slower.

regarding the tuning it would help make for a better power band, if there is a good tuner around who is familiar with the flash pro, reliability is not a concern, imo you might even make your car's more reliable with a good tune.

I believe Mase may be making a trip out to Vegas and would be a good candidate to tune the car.

Planning to pick up just an LSD, thanks for re-assuring me.

You don't want to put all that racing bling on your car and have to give pointby's to guys in stock cars with r compounds and a big front swaybar!

so my advice is put the money into real estate

apart from that I'd definitely get a harddog and a seat then you can concentrate on what you're doing and you probably won't lose your head if you roll
