Default Wheel weight vs. width

For all of you track experts, which would you pick for turning fast lap times? A set of nonstagger 17x9, 15.9 lbs (RPF-1) wheels, or a set of 17x9.5, 19.8 lbs (NT03+M) wheels? I will be running the same 255/40/17 tires on these.

I like the extra strength and width of the 9.5" NT03+M's, but is the extra width worth the 4 additional pounds per corner? I can't decide...

4lbs per corner is a lot for an extra 0.5", especially since you are planning on running the same tire either way.

Why not a set of 17x9.5 RPF1's? They're less than a pound heavier than the NT03+M...

I think you would have to switch to the same model rim and what not to get a fair comparison as switching to the NT03's would net you a more rigid rim as well. 4lbs is a lot per corner though.

If only there is such a size as 275/35/17, then it will make my decision a lot easier.

Offset. I don't want to go as aggressive as a +38. I'd have to do more fender mods and still risk pulling the front fender if I countersteer on the track, which I do quite often.
