NT01 don't have as glaring of an overheat issue as say a street tire.
I am also willing to bet the tread on a 235 NT01 is pretty close to 9", which would make it ideal for that rim. None of this is really the huge "shocker" its being made to be simply because the designation of manufacture size for some of these tires is bullshit.
