Default Will the tires rub?

Hi,

Got a track day coming up in a couple of days and won't have time to roll the fenders or install coilovers/alignment. Do you guys think I'll have rubbing issues with current situp?

Year model 2000 AP1
Gendon front sway bar on medium stiffness
17x10 +55 wheels all around
255 hankook rs3
2-2.5 degree camber front and back, cant recall exact numbers
Stock shocks/springs (YM 2000)

Fronts:

What is your ride height? From the looks of the picture, you should be OK but it depends on how stiff your springs are, if they are on the soft side they could still compress enough on hard corners to allow the tire to rub. I know that with my 17x9 +58 Forgestar F14's I had rubbing, but I was 25" from ground to fender (13" from hub center to fender) on soft Bilstein PSS9's.

It's gonna be pretty close. That's an aggressive fitment even with a roll and pull, if you're lowered. Since you're stock height you'll get some extra room, but it's gonna be close.

I ripped up my fender and chewed up a tire the other day with 17x9 +48 255, lowered with rolled fenders and -2.8 camber, drifting under full opposite lock (no rubbing in normal track driving). Your wheel sticks out roughly 7mm more than mine, but you'll have extra room and camber gain from the ride height.

Yes. Under hard cornering it can rub in the front. I would roll the fenders.

It will likely rub some, stock springs are pretty soft.

I would definitely roll those fenders before your track weekend. Also remove those center caps.

May as well remove the valve stem caps too so checking pressures will be easier.

I didn't run into any rubbing with the flared fenders and relocated tab at Carolina Motorsports Park.

BTW, running 255's with a FSB is MONEY. So much more grip and stability compared to stock a1 setup. Can't wait to get my Ohlins installed.
