Yokohama Advan AD08R

This is a video of the wife autocrossing the Cayman on the AD08Rs if you want to get a sense for auditory feedback and slip angle.
Was a cool day on gritty asphalt so grip levels were down a little. But she was still able to almost win RTR in Chicago (lost by 0.010s) in a field of 27. So the tires don't suck.

Maybe Ill just sack up and give them a try next winter then. It just bugs me a little that Bridgestone priced the RE-11A very aggressively compared to the RE-11 and the ZII was sort of in the same boat but Yokohama either increased or kept pricing the same as the AD08.
On an unrelated note your wife is a very good driver

Thanks, she'll appreciate that! She's been working really hard at her game the last couple of years.
That was only the second time she had ever autocrossed that car. She's pretty bad ass.

Love, love, love it. Makes a great daily driver. I put snow tires on it and it's as much fun in the Winter as the summer.
Shoot me a PM if I can answer any questions about the car.
Still keeping the CR for club racing, but SCCA has buried it for autocross.
