01 Steeda GT vs. Modded S2000
This is for all the guys that say a S2000 will begin to pull a Mustang GT on the top end. This is a "Steeda GT" which is basically a GT with some heavy body parts and suspension stuff, the only HP mods on the Mustang are a K&N Filter and some FlowMaster Mufflers. The race is from a roll, I am not sure about the Honda's mods, but it has at least exhaust? I think? Anyway, here is the video. Oh Yea, the Mustangs best time is a 14.1@99.

The Mustang beat the S2K's driver. From personal experience, up to 110, I put 1.5-2 carlengths on an '02 GT 5-sp. It was from a 20mph-roll and we both started even. I only had CAI. Lots of things could happen.
One incident doesn't surely decide that the Mustang has stronger top end. I'm willing to do a friendly run if anyone local would like to try their Mustang GT.

No, I am not implying that the 99+GT have better top-end at all, but I have seen alot of guys on this site that seem to think that the Mustang is no contest for the S2000's top end but that is not true. Now I knew as soon as I posted this that the S2000's driving capabilities would be questioned, but from what I can see, his shifts were clean and rather quick, I am not saying he is as good as some of you guys, but it is not like some ameatuer, he knew what he was doing, and he even got a clean jump at the beggining, but the Mustang just had to much power for him. Like I said before, it is a Steeda GT, it has some handling goodies, and nice wing and front splitter, and some nice fat 17" Chrome rims. The only mods on the car is a $35 K&N Filter and some old 2 chamber mufflers.

since when did 17" become fat?
oh yeah... and the only mods on the car are:
handling goodies
nice wing
front splitter
"fat" 17" chrome rims
$35 K&N
2 chamber mufflers(part of exhaust? no?)
oh... but the only mods are the car is a $35 K&N filter.. sorry
troll.... it was a kill indeed.

Well, we have all seen a video of a stock S2000 walking a GT w/intake from a roll... The famous "talking_shit" video...
The cars are so close in perofmance that small things like aftermarket wheels and driver skill will decide every single race from a roll.
I raced several GT's on a highway roll, always with the same result: 1-1.5 carlenghts for the S.

I'm calling some major major bs on this one!!!! this is serisouly utterly ridiclous and depending what type of steeda (cant see video right now at work will re post after video.) this can have up to 5 hundered and something horses from the factory !! this joker is bascically saying mustang gt with some parts from steeda, is like me saying comptech mugen s2k, bascially stock s2k heavier vs. mustang gt. common steeda is as reputable as saleen or svt cobra shelby etc. etc. don't be so gullable guys.

ing a horse, now Im about to believe that everytime I see a horse, that horse was owened by a dog.
