Default 02' s2000 vs. 08' R32

Take it for what it's worth. Here's some runs I did with my 08' R32 with Milltek exhaust and GIAC 93 octane chip vs. my old stock 02' s2000 using PocketDyno+ on my iPhone.

I think VW underestimated the power. Apparently the weight quoted on the web site is also with passenger and full tank of gas. So the actual weight is closer to 3200 not 3500. It sure doesn't feel as heavy as the manufacturer claims.

Lol. I don't know if it's the same application, but my buddies IPhone tried to tell me my high 11 second Evo had 245whp. We ran it back again, and the next time it said I had 277. Lol, it wasn't even close.

If you shake it real hard it will tell you you're in a 2000hp car/truck/something else I forgot.

Actually, The iphone program asks for the weight of the vehicle including the occupants.

Good #'s though

My best so far with just intake / exhaust 0-60 with this app is 5.8 and putting down 210 rwhp

.. edit... I actually use dynolicious... is this a diff app?

and to those who doubt the program it is all how you mount the phone in your car.

Best place i've found for the S is to pull the glove box down and set the iphone in the strap.

You're right the weight that the user puts in will make a big difference in what horsepower in calculated. I put 2995 for the s2k and 3500 for the r32.

I always use the mounts from proclipusa.com there very solid.

I have dynolicous but have had issues with it. This is a program called PocketDyno+ the + is the paid version.

you'd be better off getting a PBOX or just running the track.

I didn't even know iPhones did such a thing. That's pretty cool.
