OverBooster, your request for him to leave this site is uncalled for and unjustified. Everyone is welcome here and they are entitled to their own opinions (within reason).

5.9, I think you will find the same attitude about win/lose situations in all car forums around the net. Most people love what they own and will find a way to defend it when it's defeated. With or without intelligence.

You both need to keep in mind that you are posting in a type of forum on s2ki.com that will typically carry a big attitude and not a lot of fact to back it up. Go to most car boards and look under the "street racing" "my car vs ___ car" forums and you will see similar trash talking and defensive/offensive posts.

That does not mean that the same has to happen here, try and be better. Saying that someone looks like a jackass, telling them to leave or calling everyone S-ally 2000 drivers (I'm only assuming that was a derogatory comment) is contributing to the problem.

If intelligence is what you seek from S2000 owners, this particular forum is not the best place to find it (I'm not saying it's non-existent), try S2000 talk, Under the Hood or the regional forums and you will discover that the majority of owners are quite nice, respectful and intelligent.

Actually, I just came up with an interesting piece of logic that I think is working under this supposed attitude we have, according to Mr. SUV.

We say our cars aren't meant for drag racing, which is true. That being said, if we manage to beat a car that is more suited for drag racing, then it IS a feat to praise.

Likewise, it works in reverse. We lose to a car, and its a valid excuse to say our car isn't meant for drag racing....

So even though it might seem like we're two-faced, both cases are valid. Now of course, I've noticed only about 10% of the people on here understand logic, so there's a good chance what I say will not make a difference.

LOL....someone else and I came up with the idea that everyone should be required to take a course in logic yearly...then arguing with stupid people would be much less like banging your head against a wall...

I don't think anyone here will argue that there are better drag cars than the S2000. But most of the people here get a kick out of acceleration and the best place to really measure that acceleration is at the drag strip.

Drag racing is a sport where many of the people involved enjoy a good challenge. At least on the import side. What do you think people would have said if you told them twenty years ago that there would be FWD civics in the 9's? Not exactly your typical drag car with FWD and a 4 cyclinder. How about opening up your mind a little. Not everyone's goal is to be running in the 10's.
