Pretty deep on this one...need to whip out my hip waders to get through all of the BS.

I just picked up one of the last 02' M3s....some of the 03' models are just hitting US shores.....here is one explanation....breakin period....you can only run it up to 5500 RPM for the first 1200 miles....my guess...if it is a new '03, the guy was only running 6/10ths.....thats like saying the S2000 goes 0-60 in 9.5 sec (if you don't vtec it).....so what.

M3 fully broken in versus Rustang GT= no contest unless the driver is an idiot...my 0.02

 

LOL, you're right. Can't hide from your roots... Maybe someday I'll get back to my roots, but not until Ford does some major chassis and suspension revisions...

 

I hafta apologize for getting touchy last night. I had a long day at work, it was very late, I hadn't eaten since like 3 that afternoon and I was a little cranky.

First things first.

My dad has a New M3 and no way did a mustang pull on him that hard. I have a CAI and Headers on my S2000 and we raced at the track. He didn't even really launch the car and still beat me.

So A. He wasnt racing and stuck in his same gear and your car was to slow so when you pulled it looked like you were racing.

Or B. You dont know a New Body Style M from an Old one

Next time say it was an Older one. It will make it more believable
