03 s2k vs pre05 mustang gt vs my? camaro ss
tonight i was just cruising down a 3 lane road when i see two cars blow by me on the right.. we all come up to a red light, and we all look at each other.. none of us rev, so we all just sorta rolled on the light, and all hit it near the same time..
shut down at the middle of 3rd gear because i don't usually excessively speed.. the gt was at my rear wheels, and the ss was about 4-6 cars ahead of me.. caught the camaro at the next light, and he said he was all stock.. gave compliments all around..
damn his car was fast.. this is probably my 2nd drag race in the s2k, is that normal? if so, props cuz it was very unexpected that he would put on that many cars that quickly, it sounded like his tires squealed in his 3rd gear.. and i guess the gt was about right - gt definitely had an exhaust, it was loud as all hell.. oh and im stock and i was alone at the time.

hahahah "4-6 cars ahead of me". Good to see you can admit defeat, good runs. And this also shows how pathetically slow GT's are....
If the GT was modded, he SHOULD have beaten you though....
As far as the SS, depending on year, that many cars sounds about right.......

yeh i raced an slp ss from a roll and lost by about 3 car lengths when we shut down. if we went longer, he would have kept pulling. the 98+ z28/ss are fast; the ls1 is a great motor, especially when they have slp mods from the factory

Going to around the middle of third I would expect more like 3-4 cars if it was an LS1. Nearly 6 car lengths to around 75 seems excessive, of course in the heat of the moment all of our guestimations of car lengths may differ.

that is about right though. an ls1 will stomp you into the ground from a stoplight roll. and the GT sounds about right. if you'd kept going, you'd have started pulling on the GT even harder.
