well a new car that hasn't broken in yet doing 6.9 to 62MPH is probably 6.6 to 60 MPH. Then test it again after it's first oil change to let it break in. It will probably be 6.4

Well comparing "average joe" drivers in both cars would still equate to the same results the s2000 winning... but comparing best performance of the E class versus "average joe" driver of the S2000 is not a justifiable comparison. Me taking a magazine race as a comparison of both cars from the same source is of all things equal as a baseline. And of all things, im definitely not an average Joe driver so me seeing the s2000 doing 0-60 in mid 6 seconds is just rediculous... especially when you are gobbling up a full second of the time the E class is said to have done it in. *Shrugs* Im not saying the Merc is a turd... a high to mid 6 seconds for a sedan is respectable but for a car that weighs in at a hefty 3700lbs I dont see it getting off the line any quicker. Once again from a roll I can see it being a bit closer but still dont see it winning. I wont go test drive on but I will try to race one next time I see one out.

Magazines correct for times and temps and are have vastly different drivers between mags. While nice for these types of debates...MEANINGLESS in street racing.
The 1st thing I stated was that the S2000 is FASTER period. This was followed by .... NOT MUCH though.
Again...again...I drive both daily and the MB is darn near as fast as the S2000.
The S2000 is a MUCH harder car to drive fast than the MB.
Anywho....good luck when you meet one that wants to race, but I still suggest you test drive one. They are MORE than willing to give test drives. While you are there try the C350 Sport 6 speed manual...

Since the only contribution you can make to these posts are "shut up" and "just stop talking", perhaps you should troll some other sites or not even post yourself.

Given the fact it weighs 3700lbs thats still pretty damn fast if I must say. I guess in all reality Im not debating with you over which is faster we both agree to that point... I guess the driver of the s2000 sucked in this particular race and only way I will see for myself is to race one.
