In other words, "I too chicken to lose $45k in a rece with my E350 Rental"

Local dealership is taking $8500 off MSRP on the new SL 65! What a bargain huh? That means you'll have to come up with the other 171k for the car
Driving around in this rental for several weeks now has gotten me seriously thinking of replaceing the M with the E55. Called several dealers, they are going for about 85 - 93k. Still about 10k cheaper than the new M5 and you don't have to worry about mark-up.

Try the C55 and a Kleeman upgrade....pocket the extra money...
BTW go drive the C350 6 speed and tell me what you think.
The E55 is Hella fast, but as a daily driver??? The C55 is more managable. I live in a state with snow. 480ish and RWD is a bitch even with traction control.

C55 isn't considered an upgrade from my current car - E55 is.
Sure, I can get the Kleeman upgrade, but thats an 70-80k C class
