What's all of this "They'll walk you after 3rd", and to beat a Z you have to be a perfect driver...!???

That can be summed up by

I have two close friends with Z's, both of which post on this board... and one who does so quite frequently (3fiddyZ). We've raced dozens of times between the 3 of us... and ultimately, it is only a drivers race from 1 pt: A dig.

It took Aaron (3fiddy) approx. 4 or 5 races until he finally got me... and we are stock for stock.

off the highway... I pull about a 1/2 car per 20mph. (with both)

He has sinced added a high flow cat, and a new intake... plus a Nismo Shift Knob ( )... and now we're more even.

The biggest proof:
He attended the FreshWater Tour as well, and we all even saw the matchup on the Mustang Dyno (which is very accurate!) His hp crushed us, but only a select couple had slower 80-120 times!

But unfortunately, their are too many kids and biast idiots on this site for this topic to ever die.

Both are great cars, and both are fast and fun to drive... and ultimately it is a driver's race at all times, anywhere/anytime... but ... it's a driver's race with a C5 too... any chump can win, if the loser is a ass-clown behind the wheel!

What difference does that make other than it being easier to maintain, easier to find people who know how to work on it thus making it more reliable because it is used so much. It has been rated one of the top 10 engines in the world for 10 years straight. Honda is also known for reliablilty but the VQ engine is legendary.

^ Just not my cup of tea.
You got a good point but one of the things that I love about the S2000 that is like an exotic. UNIQUE!

As for a rivalry, what rivalry? Z owners don't consider an s2000 a rivalry. Most 350z owners are car enthusiasts that love their cars for what they are, an automotive icon and a great quick machine.
What rivalry? Seems like every Z and G35 owner has something to prove when I'm on the road. Maybe those of you who don't notice this occurance is simply because you are not being noticed by other drivers. I'm not sure what you guys have done to your cars but even I think a stock S' ain't much to look at.

How is the VQ engine legendary? It hasn't been out long enough to be legendary by a long shot. It's a noob on the market, just like the F20C. Both engines have their good and bad points leading to a lot of stupid arguments.

IMHO, the original Hemi for example is legendary. The RB26DETT is legendary, considering it's much newer than the Hemi.

Considering how much easier the 350 is to drive, from what others say and how much HP and torque it is putting down it is not a fast car at all. You can make all the arguments about it's weight but that's Nissans fault not mine.

I dont hate the Z, in fact I like the looks but it's not fast enough for the numbers it has.
