Default 89-91 RX7

Made at right turn onto a local street, spotted a base model (89-91?) Rx7 with exhaust, full kit, stickers all over, carbon fiber hood, and 17" rims (for all I can see) coming from the opposite direction. Minded my own bussiness when all of a sudden I saw the Rx7 busted a U in my rearview, we got caught at the next light side by side. Guy looked over and rev'ved, all I could hear was loud fart noise coming from his exhaust, I'd rev'ved back and it's on. Launched her at a tab over 6k, jumped ahead a car then after that it was just pure dust in the wind ... Was gonna give the guy a for good measure but he got caught up at a light which he couldn't make, better luck next time. At the end (I think it's safe to say that) I'd pulled a few good bus length on him, looks like the car was made for only show and no go.

Thanks, it was a nice kill but honestly it wasn't really worth it.

Anything can happen on the streets, it would of been sad if you'd lost to that Vauxhall Omega . Raced a Nissan Sentra SE-R last night and almost lost due to downshifting into 5th instead of 3rd , popped it into 3rd and it was over. Mistake happens to everyone, just another kill or another being killed.

Sounds like it was non-turbo.

I'd said base model, I don't think base model comes with turbo unless you know more about it.

Well, since it was modded, and you dusted it... it was definitely non-turbo

Definitely not turbo, my stock fc s5 (89-91) rx7 turbo is 212hp and 189 tq would definitely give a better run than that so it can't be a turbo. And there's no after market turbo kit for non-turbo rx7 only supercharge.
