A poster from another forum posted this, and I was just wondering if it's anybody from around here.

The yellow/green Eclipse ran an 11.1 and the S2 (turbo) ran a 12.4.

This is from somewhere in Arkansas.

If he's running a 12.4, he can do anything he damn well pleases (my book). That is one quick four-banger. No problems with the wing here. I don't like 'em that high but it's not like the car is ruined with it. It looks fine.

What is the fastest you guys have heard an S running quarter mile, 12.4 is really fast, the fastest I've heard was spadx running a 12.9. That is a pretty huge difference, is this legitimate you think. Not calling BS just curious.

where's the slip? if that car ran a 12.4, i would love to know the setup. that time is way, way quick.

if i saw it on the street, i would think... "all show, no go." oversized wheels, lowered springs and a huge wing.

if the story IS true, then holy damn... someone's putting some power down!

FYI: Guy posted a reason for the low times...it's a 1000ft track.

And I agree about the wing. Doesn't look right on a roadster.
