ACE10 your calculation assumes steady state velocity with no acceleration. Depending on the accleration, those time should be reduced.

well i guess i should chime in here b/c thats my car..
haha i wasnt on planning on running the car that day but i figured why not b/c there wasnt much competition. i originally planned on putting it on at the show later that day. it was my first time out there and i definitely didnt shift right b/c i was so nervous and had so much adrenaline running through me.
that is a 1000 ft track and my fastest time was 11.9. i have the UR turbo but its not tuned at all. im planning on getting it tuned once i get a 3inch single from UR. another thing is that the track is one of the worst tracks out there. go see for yourself, its in PODUNK sallisaw Oklahoma. i had absolutely no traction. the temperature was at 100+ and it was HOOOOT. i really dont know what the altitute is there either. hopefully ill get everything tuned and set by the end of this month. someone eariler had posted that their UR turbo set up was at 260rwhp without tuning but im getting it tuned ASAP. UR posted up pretty good times with their car on their website.
i have put my spoiler for sale but all the inquiries about it flake out . im taking it off and getting the Carbon fiber trunk from the groupbuy going on. im also taking the big sticker off too. since this is my first time out there and i really dont plan on going to drag strips regularly so im not planning on getting lighter rims. BTW i sold my stock rims to get the works wheels.

this is what i posted on the racing forum

I went to a 1000 feet drag strip today for the first time today. There are no quarter miles tracks here for miles and miles. Well here are the results.
1st run against a honda civic si (JRSC, header, exhaust)
mine
Reaction: .779
60ft: 2.346
mph: 89.29
ET: 12.111
his ET was 12.314
2nd run.. dont really remember who
Reaction: .890
60: 2.296
mph:89.82
ET: 12.066
3rd run again dont remember
Reaction:..729
60:2.250
mph:88.40
ET: 12.104
4th run honda civic si spraying 50? shot
reaction: .678
60: 2.232
mph: 88.58
ET: 11.962
5th run ghetto rigged eclipse
reaction: .679
60: 2.197
mph 82.71
ET 12.072
6th run with a older model DSM fully built motor and everything well put together. He was supposed to be a class higher than me but no one showed up in his class so they stuck him in mine.
Reaction:.879
60: 2.291
mph :88.93
ET 12.373

his:
Reaction: 1.142
60: 1.954
mph:94.33
et: 11.186

my worst run of the day was with that DSM. but anyways I got $100 out of the deal and only paid 25 to enter. I still havent gotten my car tuned yet so im just running with the Emanage like the way that UR sent it to me, so i can still get more HP hopefully and it was 100+degrees out there. The track from what I heard from everybody at the meet was one of the worst. it was hard to get traction. So hopefully I can do better at a different place and somewhere that has a 1/4 mile track! BTW it was in Sallisaw, OK, about an hour 30 minute drive from Fayetteville, AR.

Lextacy, do you know a guy who drives a white Subaru 2.5RS Wagon?

He's the one who posted those in my other forum.

He claims to be running 12 flats on that track...

Thanks.

He has a nice car and everything, but I would've gone with a more sleeper look.

there was neon that was stripped there that took home a second place i think. It was basically all stock and it beat a lot of the ricer mobiles there. he said that he drove the neon to piss people off.
