Default ap1 modified vs 05' m3

Hey everyone Well, a buddy of mine just picked up an 05' m3 with automatic smg trans. Just by the specifications on his m he thinks he can beat my s2k. first off I haven't ran anyone with my s since i got installed my supercharger. my performance mods are comptech supercharger with 7psi pulley, aftercooler and spearco front mount, J's racing header and 70rr exhaust, mazda 4.44, and vafc 2 and cooling mods etc. do you guys think I'd smoke him? Has anyone had a similiar race with my mods?

I've raced a friends m3 from a roll many many times and the outcome is that he's only able to pull a car when we go up to about 80... if we went longer then he would pull a lot more.. How much horsepower to the wheels are you putting down... I say you should be able to take him..

I would think you would smoke him. You make more power, weigh less, and have gears.

I'll have to race him when i get my new clutch to finish my drivetrain. It slips a few thousand revs when shifting hard at 9k so I don't want to run him yet. to be continued...

Thanks for your input guys!

I'm not sure how much power I'm putting to the wheels but i've seen with my setup easily around 320 horses and 190 up tq.

You should win with out a problem. At stated above, more power to the wheels (minus tq), a lot less weight, and new gears

You should be able to beat him although he does have a slight advantage over you, he doesn't have to worry about mis-shifting
