Sorry I owned a 00 GT with long tubes, catback, springs, and intake and 3.73 gears, and while you may be able to beat a S2000 off the line with a good launch, not a chance in hell anything over a 30mph roll that the Stang wins. Those GTs fall on their FACE after 4000 RPMS.

From a roll any S2K should be able to slaughter a I/H/E 99-04 GT, assuming equal drivers.

Edit* The Stang with some 4.10s would make a great race though!

You have it really confused. The AP2 engine is an F22, and an AP1 engine is an F20. They both have the same exact power output with the AP2 having 10 more lbs of torque. The rating for horsepower changed which is why the F22/F20 is now rated at 237.
honda downplayed the power of the ap2 it should be between 250-260.f22 always dynos about 10-15 hp more than a f20

Which is why the AP2 is basically a god compared to the AP1. Not only the equivalent in horsepower but also 6 higher in torque. 162>156 tq.
