I would strongly recommend (before you start tossing parts for sale) is to get a dyno and show the results (AF ratios too)

"loses effectiveness" ok, but it's still able to accelerate faster than a stock geared s2000 at any speed it can attain.

If gears are a "torque multiplier" why would it only apply to lower RPM ranges/lower gears?
