ap1 vs 2005 g35 coupe

No, all of my G's were 6-speed manuals. All the sport model. (tended to be a little quicker then most other G's I ran into)
And that's not true about the Plemum. After a while I added a spacer and a CAI and really only picked up some response. Not unless the race started from say like 70mph would it be even with a stock S2K. The S2000 just pulls harder to 100.
The Z's would be the ones who were even. 2-300lbs lighter.

Your G is auto? No passenger in the S2K?
With a $100 Plenum Spacer they are dead even.

Damn dude ive watched that video quite a few times haha. Cool to c the owners on here.
Ya to add to this discussion my buddy had a 2005 G35 automatic with topspeed exhaust, megan test pipes, injen intake, kinetix intake manifold, and engine dampener.
From whatever speed throughout ours cars different mods i have always pulled hard on him. I will however say that from 100+ speeds you're right they put up a much better fight, but at that point he's to far back to catch me. The only time he has ever stayed with me was from a 60 roll where i took a car through third and then he held with me till 120, BUT i had a 300+lb passenger (picture the dude from the blind side, no shit that how he looks lol). It really is amazing how much weight screws with this no torque car lol. Now granted im more modded than he is, but i've always gotten a kick out of how bad i pull him bc he has alot of his ego invested in everything he owns, especially his G

nah you just probably care about your clutch and differential more lol, but in all seriousness a 13.7 is incredibly good for a stock s

My gf's brother had an 04 G35 Coupe, and he always pulled on me in my 06 S2000 from a roll. Granted both were bone stock, but he always kept slowly pulling away on me from every speed from 50 to 80mph, didn't matter. I tried everything, and lost every time. It's possible the guy kept the car in 6th gear and/or never downshifted properly, or your car is a lot faster then my bone stock 06. His G35 (280hp), was quite powerful from a roll. I think you are just a better driver. Tough to know, because it's really driver vs driver, not car vs car, unless it's controlled like when I raced one.
that is the funniest thing i've ever heard in my life...
G35's have no chance against a s2000 from a roll, unless the s2000 starts the race WELL UNDER vtec.
a stock g35 can't even trap 100 in the 1/4 mile .
i know these cars very well. the s2000 will walk every time.
