On my way home after a few high speed runs, i ran into this evo 9, with the paper tag on it. Its funny cuz i still have my paper tag. so we hit the light at a 10mph roll he honks and we take off. He jumps a car length and i hold him all the way till 120ish. so we stopped and had a lil convo about what just happened. Really cool guy just bought it and he wanted to race a S. All i have is an intake, id say it was a pretty good run.

Hehe race from 20-25 mph, then he woulndn't have jumped that car

A stock EVO 9 will destroy a stock S2k, from a 10 mph roll, you would have been no where near vtec, and you have a 00 with a tad less power,


that guy should have ate you alive...... sorry. nice kill on the driver.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Aren't the 5 speeds pretty stout?

 

they both arepretty stout, maybe the 5-speed is a little bit stronger overall, but the only real difference is the 5-speeds are generally better for the 1/4 due to a longer 4th gear

 

i agree EVO 9 will rape s2k....all day everyday, even holiday...2 friends wit EVO 9s...i get destroyed all the time for fun...sometimes they give me head start too...
