I can maybe see this happening if your friend is as shitty driver. HR 350z's trap 105-107 MPH and run low 13's bone stock, while an S2000 bone stock runs 100-102 MPH and 13.6-13.9's at best. Not sure how much benefit your mods give (50-60 lb weight reduction with exhaust, tp, and header), and if you've got a good tune you probably picked up 15-20 whp at peak and big chunks in the midrange. So your trap at best would be... 103-104? Passenger in 350z hurts it even further. Anything can happen on the streets!

I'd guess you're a really good driver and your buddy sucks + handicapped due to passenger. Good kill.

I walked him slowly with 4 people in the car. Was the funniest thing ever.

I was going to call bs, but with your mods you should be able to take or go door to door an HR 350z if you got the jump on the honk and you only went to 110 mph.

 

I used to own an HR 350Z. Those things are quick as hell. I know a few dudes who have ran 13.1 second 1/4 miles @ 109 mph in a bone stock 350Z with the HR motor. Your friend's driving skills must not be great.
I'm not trying to take away from your victory. It's a nice kill and all, but the HR Z is already quick as hell right out of the factory, no mods really required.
