Like I said earlier its the result of the S2000 being bad at top end. It has no TQ and high wind resistance. Its not that the G35 is so great its just the S2000 is so bad. remember as speed increases windresistance is just like weight. So the weight advantage a S2000 over cars with more HP/TQ (but more weight) down low cause it to not be very strong up top in comparison to its low end ability.

I got exams tommorow so I got to study but if you really want I will show you how this works out using math and physics.

In there there is me in my 911 vs 350z.. I think he only shows 2 out of the 4 (the two that where close) as we went above 100 I just start to buslength his 350z....
thats a fast Z. what kinda whp? he seemed to hang with your 911 decently. is yours a 993?

The vid's of the 911 and Z were door to door, with one of them the Z pulling.

And it's harder to compare when you have mods, because certain mods can be a plus in the high end, and some can be better down low. You know what I mean?

I just know from owning the car. In my experiences the VQ does come to life in the top end. Same thing happens when I run a bunch of friends cars..SRT-4's, mustang GT, stage 2 GTI's, Another good example of this is when I race my buddies Eclipse GT (the new one) Were neck and neck through 3rd gear...Then I end up pulling 2-3 cars by mid 5th.

Actually, that was from a low roll and its because 2nd gear in the 993 is far to long (US G21) and the 350Z got pulled half a car in that vid and 1-2 in the other 2 vids but I cannot find them. Also the 911 is a 1995 993 with my best time in the 1/4 being

R/T - 1.097
60' - 1.908
330 - 5.545
1/8 - 8.569
MPH - 81.66
1000 - 11.153
1/4 - 13.336
MPH - 103.76

I know the best the Z did was like a 13.5@105 (N/A)

Regardless, SRT-4 has a horrible 5th gear.. (Its very very very mis-geared)
Mustang 5.0's I have raced are strong but I never raced on on a stock transmission or gears. The GTI's are alright there not that strong and I have never had any want to race a new eclipse..

I think more of the races are in there...

I also was told, since G35's are low compression compared to us, they react better to mods. True? I did have my ass handed to me once by a modded G35 on the freeway.
