At first, I thought the Crossfire SRT6 was some kind of SUV.

Regardless, the OP's S2000, with gears and those mods, would leave a stock S2000 a few car lengths behind in the 1/4mi race. And it makes perfect sense that it only lost to a stock Crossfire SRT6 by that much.

However, saying that an SRT 6 is capable of trapping at 110mph and not mentioning that they're modified cars is misleading at the very least.
mea culpa. You are right. In my defense, I wasn't too concerned about the high end of the range, but yes, I was at fault for not reading the mod list of cars at the high end of the range.

It's really unfortunate that they aren't faster...if they were maybe they could outrun ugly. I don't see many of them on the road which wasn't surprising initially due to the price but now they can be had for considerably less than they were new and they're not bad on the inside and they have to be fun little cars.

this is a cute little arguement.

ive seen time and time again, srt4 stock, race srt6 stock, and its dead even, from rolls, and digs. so im gonna go with srt6 being slow. the 2 that ive ran, were no contest. they locked up with me, at about 6 cars behind, after about 130. im sure somewhere they haul ass, but its not where ive been. (hint, the srt6 weighs 600 lbs more than my car)

and no, 330 hp doesnt automatically make a car fast sorry. a 330 hp evo, will DESTROY a 330 hp crossfire. so add that up.

LOL...we definitely agree on this point.

have you sat in one?
I have not but it's based on the older SLK I believe and we had one of those and I could not sit in it at all...I'm 6'2". One thing I've always liked about the S2000 is how comfortably I fit in the drivers seat given the size of the car.
