Yesterday my bro and I took a cruise on the S. While on the highway I caught up to a STI and sort of provoked a race. We started perhaps around 70ish ( i was on 3rd at 6k rpms) at first i hung with him for a few seconds then I guess the turbo starting spooling and bye bye.. haha i thought i would do better as i have raced a wrx and beat him, but clearly i was no match as he immediately braked as he pulled a car length on me..

his mods were unknown but he def had an exhaust. i basically have everything in my head aftermarket and intake. stupid sti now has me wanting a turbo =(

S2000 vs sti

 

In before S2000 owners claim they destroy STi's.

 

I've roasted many STi's, stock and modded, at various meets we've had. Of course, I'm boosted too.

But that's a lie, because every STi is faster than any S2000, right?

i beat a STI

 

Hmm i not saying that you should have beaten him but unless there is something with either your car or your driving.. OR he had more done than just an exhaust (usally the case). MY05 AP2 stay right behind STi's and i only have gutted intake, TP and dented/leaking 60MM teardrop LOL. Also STi's are 4wd so usually there top end isn't exacly fantastic, but then again turbo can do amasing things...

 

I spank em' well, most atleast.

 

If he was stock or just had and exhaust and no tune you should be able to get him.

 

The early 04/05 stock sti's are slow.
